FINGERINGS FOR MODERN GANASSI RECORDERS

(in G & in C )

RECORDER IN G (alto)

1st OCTAVE FINGERINGS (low notes)

Ganassi in g 1st octave

SECOND OCTAVE

Ganassi in g 2nd octave

THIRD OCTAVE (high notes)

Ganassi in g 3rd octave

● = closed   ○ = open    ø = partially closed

Where several fingerings are indicated, the most appropriate for a given instrument should be used.

*This note is usually too high on modern "Ganassi" recorders. The alternative fingering with the thumb hole closed, which is not in La Fontegara, gives better intonation.
