NORMAL BAROQUE RECORDER FINGERINGS
(sometimes called "modern" or "English" fingerings)

charts for recorders in F and C

1° - RECORDER IN F (alto or treble, sopranino & bass)

1st OCTAVE FINGERINGS (low notes)

fingerings for the 1st octave - recorder in f"

2nd OCTAVE FINGERINGS

fingerings for the 2nd octave - recorder in f"

3rd OCTAVE FINGERINGS (high notes)

fingerings for the 3rd octave - recorder in f"

● = closed   ○ = open    ø = partially closed
LH = left hand   RH = right hand

Some 3rd octave notes require the bell to be closed (with the knee or a bell key).

Where several fingerings are indicated, the most appropriate for a given instrument should be used.
